Eileen Maloney, a hostess in a strip joint, wakes up to find her two children missing. Suspecting that she killed them herself, Lt. Bramm questions her for days about her lifestyle, her children, her ex-husband, sex and life in general. Hoping to shock her into a confession, he forces her to re-enact her last moments in the children’s room. As the interrogation continues, however, the lieutenant’s interest in his suspect begins to turn to infatuation.
