Two half-brothers meet at their adventurer father’s funeral. A disillusioned comedian, Gilead has nothing in common with his younger Noah, a soccer coach whose team is unsuccessful. Other than a collection of personal failures, the half-brothers don’t have much in common. Gilead places the blame for their failures on the sacred chalice that their father once stole. By returning it to its place of origin, he thinks he can finally break the family curse. Fired after a humiliating defeat, Noah agrees to join Gilead on this adventure. With the sacred relic in hand, the two brothers embark on an adventure.
