This is the tale of the ill-fated love affair between the bandit Black Tiger and the well-born lady Rumpoey. They have known each other since childhood, but her father has engaged her to marry Police Captain Kumjorn–who is charged with destroying the gang of which Black Tiger is a member. At one point Black Tiger very sportingly saves Kumjorn’s life. As the wedding day approaches, will Kumjorn be man enough to return the favor?
