In a posh section of London, artist and designer Yolanda Sonnabend lives in the family home, which is worth millions. Unfortunately, years of neglect have taken their toll and the home is now crammed with her artwork, books and bric-a-brac as Yolanda succumbs to dementia. Meanwhile, her brother, world-famous New York AIDS physician, Dr. Joseph Sonnabend reluctantly returns home. Feeling bound by duty, he struggles to cope with his sister’s mental deterioration, but longs for order and dreams of selling the family house so he can move somewhere warm.
