During a summer trip to Louisiana with four of her friends, Megan (Elisabeth Harnois) begins to feel the presence of her twin sister Sophie, who committed suicide six months earlier. She belives Sophie is trying to communicate with her, so she does some research into communicating with the dead. She begins to suspect a local man has something to do with a girl who has gone missing. While snooping in his house, she finds a photograph of the girl and unravels a dark secret about Sophie's suicide.
