Brothers Gabriel, a depressed academic (David Dencik), and Elias, a loner (Mads Mikkelsen), have come to lay their father to rest. Once they reunite, they discover that he didn’t sire them. After searching for clues, they travel to the island of Ork to find their real father. After arriving at his dilapidated mansion, they meet their three other brothers who live there. Their father’s rules for running the house make Gabriel and Elias seem normal in comparison. The longer they stay, the more they discover about their family.
