To pay for school, Audrey works as a maid in a fancy hotel located near Charles de Gaulle airport. Gary, a successful American computer engineer on business in Paris, misses his flight to Dubai for yet another meeting after having a panic attack. He decides to abandon everything: his business, which he shares with two partners, as well as his wife and two children and remains in Paris until he can figure out his next move. Gary’s anxiety leads him to get drunk in his hotel room.
