A slightly nerdy yuppie ends up going to SoHo one night for what he hopes will be a nice date, but ends up getting caught up in one weird turn of events after another with a menagerie of oddball characters. Soon, he finds himself the accused suspect in a string of burglaries in the neighborhood, becomes the object of a witch hunt by a posse of SoHo denizens, and can’t find a way to get back uptown to where he lives.
